Loss of Innocence that was Not Lost - Risk Adolescence
“Loss of Innocence that was Not Lost” is a low-relief paper sculpture series that investigates about the metamorphosis between childhood and adulthood, tapping into the inner memory of children’s media. Common media for children, animation has been introduced to children at an early stage of their lives, to provide a source for understanding morals and values. This can also educate children to smile in the face of their troubles; to hide their struggles on a path to become stronger; develop their curiosity; to build their desire to explore and what children do best: have fun. "Risk Adolescence" is based on the Disney animation Little Mermaid.
