The COFA Annual 2013

Resume

Recently discovered of paper art, I play with various techniques such as paper cutting and low-relief intertwining the 2D and 3D elements. I also use graphite, watercolours, acrylic, oils, inks and digital media depending on my subjective matter.

My recent works are visual records of important aspects during our childhood, which turns insignificant when becoming adults. Creating low-relief paper sculptures of scenes and moments that have provided a source for understanding morals/values in a child’s development. Using 2D and 3D symbolizing fantasy and reality, it engages with the media that children grew up with. They reproduce a familiar image.
