Habitus
A series of artworks created in response to the standardisation of habitual practices of cleanliness. The artwork is a further extension of the link between dirt discrimination and hierarchy, this time relating it on a personal level. The glass contains remaining water from cleaning the homeless people, and beside it is a filtering straw. The works flips your concern from 'being clean' to aesthetics. It asks "The water is hygienically safe to drink, so why won't you?".
