"Dystopian Future Rescuscitation" was an installation and performance piece that was inspired by the revelation that the future of our world relies on some of its most numerous and minuscule inhabitants, the plankton of the ocean. By recreating plastic versions of some of the most notable plankton forms, I could "resuscitate" them through tube systems, as though they were hooked up to ventilator machines, preserving them in an unnatural and scientific manner.
