I’m still falling, 2013, Super 8 film transferred to DVD, 116sec loop, Edition of 3 + AP. Photography: Jack L. Dunbar
For I’m still falling, ten estimated seconds of filming an Icelandic waterfall, every minute for ten minutes, resulted in 116 seconds of fragmentary footage that was stitched into a not-quite seamless loop. Continuity is discontinued and then made into a new continuum, transferred from Super 8 to DVD, sublimating the sublime. Text by Amelia Groom, 2013
