Behind Her Smile
"Behind Her Smile" is a collection of portraits that demonstrates the efforts taken to conceal distress and fear with a smile. Through this work I try to represent the intricacies of human emotion through the layers of sheets and detailed illustrations. I believe that not everyone is able to empathise entirely with another. No one is able to fully feel the weight of the fear. But we still try. And that is what makes us human.
