I am fond of both 3D animation and Chinese traditional arts. There are many works use 3D technology to show the ink paintings of landscapes, but I want to try to use ink painting and 3D technology to show a more narrative story. The inspiration of the story comes from an experience. When I worried about what story I can create for my assessment, I fell asleep. After I wake up and saw the blank on the screen, I thought of a Chinese idiom ‘Nan Ke Yi MENG’ and the film Inception.
