Part of my "Not of a Woman - Self portraits" series.
My art is a medium of expression: an outlet for self-examination, personal observation, rehabilitation and self-improvement. This series is my attempt at deconstructing my feelings after a traumatic experience. I’m taking a positive from a negative, in a realisation that I want to be a more assertive person in all aspects of my life. This work expresses a feeling of loss and an inner strength to move on.
