My body of work explores the myth of the invisible mask and how we use these masks as a facade to engage people in different social situations in order to get by in life. I think it's important to address the motives behind why we wear masks and whether these motives are rational or not. By using the nude figure, I am stripping down the wearer exposing their vulnerability. I am juxtaposing the absurdity of this action, as signified by using the unicorn mask, which is based on a mythical creature.
