Throughout my experience studying abroad, I would get terribly homesick, and would fight the urge to jump on a plane and fly back home. But I found food to be a great medium for nostalgia and comfort.

In this body of work I challenge our familiarity with food and, experiment with discomfort. Our dislikes of certain food is the causality of biological and chemical reasoning, through which all stem from human memory.

To be lax, I found it quite interesting that someone can like tomato sauce but hate tomatoes :|
