I C C I - Unheard
I C C I is an “urban storytelling” mixed-media awareness campaign for Cockatoo Island. It involves large-scale textile installations that represent different significant chapters of the island's “story” throughout time. Due to the lack of detailed awareness of Cockatoo Island, its full potential as an important landmark of Sydney and a place for everyone to enjoy is being barred. This idea of ‘barred’ derives from the gridded and mechanical aesthetics of the island, and this expresses the barrier that prevents the opportunities that Cockatoo Island offers to be heard.
