The Experience - Greening
Inspired by my volunteer trip to South Africa, 'The Experience' is a range of rugs designed to highlight aspects of my South African journey. Each design incorporates abstract and stylised African-inspired patterns, warm/earthy tones from the iconic African landscape and sunset, as well as including the bold primary colours of the South African flag.
The conservation and protection of the natural wildlife of South Africa was an important aspect of my volunteering. Therefore, organic and natural forms where used to illustrate this.
