The word ‘cradle’ evokes ideas of protection and support. At the same time, such protection and support can be confining and a hindrance to growth. The dynamic between nature and nurture underpins “Cradle”. On both a personal and societal level, parenting and policy form an exoskeleton which enables and yet controls the experience of an individual.
