The Oz Mission
The keyframe illustrates the scene where the 4 main characters (Dorothy, Tinman, Scarecrow and Cowardly Lion) walk towards the Floating Castle in search of Wicked Witch. They were under a mission tasked by the Wizard of Oz to kill the Wicked Witch before he grants them their wish. Hence you can also see the Wizard (in his Fairy form) hovering in the background guiding the 4 characters towards the castle.
The overall mood of the scene is designed to create an aura of darkness, mysterious, and horror setting. This is achieved through the creepy forest and the thundery sky, coupled with the perpendicular gothic style of the Floating Castle. Yet, the yellow bricks that form a road leading to the floating castle establish a strong contrast to the overall gloomy background, symbolizing the good evading the evil within the building.
