Mind-touch is the phenomenon that occurs when your brain tells you what an object feels like before you touch it. Here, whether the audience sees crunchy, autumn leaves or wet, soggy leaves, neither is correct. They have been tricked; as what they see is in fact an object three times removed from its original. Here is an object made from an image of the original object, completely different in material and texture.
