Seen and Unseen
My current work explores the dichotomy of what is seen and unseen. Something I was very much aware of during and after a recent trip to India. Blind embossing and etching suggest the visible and invisible that exists both consciously and unconsciously. Hence a single running shoe surrounded by a mass of Indian footwear amidst repetitive patterns is the tangible ground in front of me juxtaposed with the unseen layers of cultural differences.
