The COFA Annual 2013

My work takes an aggressive stance against sexual abuse. Women have really drawn the short straw, born into a patriarchal ideology, it is common for men to live in abundance while women scrimper around the grovel pit of whores. It appears untenable the constant acceptance of ‘whore’ as normal, it’s a disgrace that women are forced to pamper to this. I wanted to respond to artist Pablo Picasso’s ‘Minotaur’ in my work as it displayed a similar ideology of sexual fancy. I wish to continue my practice to both strengthen and unite women to make universal change possible.
