Resume

Isabel is a Sydney based artist, who has spent recent years studying and working in Guadalajara, Mexico. Her work currently uses mixed media encompassing printing, photography, painting, drawing, and installation.

Landescape, her latest body of work, plays with perspective both physically and in an imaginary sense. Pushing viewers to channel the curiosity of a child who wants to see the inside of a mouse hole. Referencing the polysemic aspect of landscape representation and highlighting the power of isolated observation. Interested in unique affiliations that can be drawn from objects and images, and the consequentially different interpretations of the same composition.
