The COFA Annual 2013

Audrey masquerades under the name AUNA. She is an illuminating illustrator and dexterous designer who continuously strives to inspire yet constantly is inspired by the people around her.
“Behind Her Smile” is a collection of portraits that demonstrates the efforts taken to conceal distress and fear with a smile. She represents the intricacies of human emotion through the layers of sheets and detailed illustrations. She believes that not everyone is able to empathise entirely with another. No one is able to fully feel the weight of the fear. But we still try. And that is what makes us human.
