Jiaxin Lin (B.1991, Canton) is an international student from China currently studying BFA and majoring in Drawing and Painting.She is good at pastel drawing and oil painting in realistic style especially portraits. Her works are mostly focusing on the cultural differences as the subject matter. Psychology, sociology and social issues are always her areas of interest. In 2010, her work, Dao Ma Dan got exhibited in National Portrait Gallery in Canberra as one of the finalists of Headspace 10. The same work had also been awarded as the winner of 2010 Young Australian Art Award.
