The themes my work deals with concern the validity and significance of personal hobbies and interests in the wider world. Standing against the notion that the ‘adult world’ is a place grounded in reality, a place where people must sometimes do what they don’t want to achieve happiness. My work draws upon imagery present in model making and videogames
I work predominantly in the traditional mediums of oil paints, pencil and pen, drawing on techniques and styles that range from the gestural marks of early impressionist painters, to the the clean defined shapes of illustrators and designers.
