The COFA Annual 2013

To create my work I layer and recontextualise photographic self portraits and images of popular culture. I mesh these together through an artist practise of oil painting, drawing, computer scanned images, embroidery and ceramics.
They say " a picture is worth a thousand words" and i find it hard to put things into words. So I use my art making as a way to deconstruct the narratives in and around my life.
