The COFA Annual 2013

Obscura is an eyewear collection that explore concepts of the projected and perceived identity that humans place upon themselves and cast upon others. This project investigates the interrelationship between concealment, anonymity and clarity through a series of handmade and manufactured sunglasses in combination with the intangible qualities of the face.

Consisting of one Mother handmade piece that births three wearable designs, Obscura seeks to kindle a semblance between the object and user by examining the importance of eyewear, its purpose and personalisation.
