As an artist Alastair likes to play with the light. Through his images, he attempts to expose the underlying emotional relationship between a subject and the photographer. He endeavours to create beautiful images that reveal as much about the subject’s as they do about himself.
Through reducing a photograph to a simple interaction of the light and shadow, Alastair undertakes a complex interplay between the viewer and his own personality.
