The COFA Annual 2013

Resume

I a humble artist whose subject matter and inspirations take root in sociological and anthropological discourses and the desire to explore individual & collective expressions of culture and being, with my prime concerns centering around notions of gender, power, place and the construction of knowledge. While I produced paper-works such as the mapscapes featured in the 2013 COFA Annual, my practice spans across multiple media such as digital illustration and design, to heat-pressed illustrations on plywood that are aesthetically informed by both Western conventions of drawing, painting, design and illustration and the stylization of Japanese ukiyo-e, manga and anime.
