The COFA Annual 2013

Our experiences shape our identity and influence the way we see the world. They are able to differentiate us, but also unite us when they are shared. Many of my memorable experiences are attached to specific places. ‘Global Nomad’ encapsulates these places in a snow globe-like dome that embodies a physical souvenir that can hold and protect memories. I focused on the different architecture prevalent in certain cities that I have lived in and felt have had the largest effect on who I am today. These cities are found in the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and Australia.
