As a designer I seek to understand the world in order to better communicate with it. Neil MacGregor wrote “…the constant human striving to do things better, to make tools that are not only more efficient but also more beautiful, to explore not just environments but ideas, to struggle towards something not yet experienced.” (2010) Consecutively informing my design, this quote is the reason I design. Design is creating for people but to me it is more than that, it is creating an experience in order to better enhance one’s understanding of the world.
