When a space is breathing.
Inhaling.
Exhaling.
The rhythm of a heartbeat.
Moving fast.
Moving slow.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
My body inhales its exhale.
And exhales its inhale.
Life runs through the air of this space.
It lives for movement.
For constant change.
When a space isn’t breathing.
Lifeless.
It rests in silence.
Complete stillness.
Breathless.
Dormant.
Waiting.
Stale air that knows no time.
Frozen and unchanging.
Unmoving.
Undisturbed.
It suffocates.
Waiting.
