The COFA Annual 2013

Resume

[in][af]finite:

A pseudo-scientific apparatus for observing phenomenological activity, specifically those energies expended over temporal distances and interpersonal exchanges, under the specific controls of the performance. Both time’s flow [infinity] and the emotional comprehension of another body [affinity] are elusive entities of intangible experience, however, they have a distinct presence in the controlled live platform. The hyper-intensity of the live setting locates these forces at their most potent, in the urgency and fragility of a finite duration, with real exchange between bodies, in real time and space.
