The COFA Annual 2013

Resume

Documenting experiences is commonly practiced in our daily lives. Why are we constantly leaving marks to affirm our presence?

I am interested in vestiges of a body once it has departed a space as well as the banal moments we easily forget. They comment on the ephemeral themes evident in our everyday lives.

Highly populated cities were photographed in order to document these collaborations of found traces. The images are juxtaposed with blind contour drawings, influenced by my existence.

The combination of photography and drawing enabled me to preserve both the physical traces and psychological memories of existence.
