Michael Peters is a digital artist who specializes in photography and digital composite techniques. His current works depict a process of deconstruction and synthesis of the human form that leads to a journey into the surreal. Each work in this series illustrates a transhuman being that is constructed from fragments of the human body. The culmination of these fused fragments aims to convey the mixed possibilities of utopian and dystopian futures based on the utility of biotechnology. The images have been individually constructed from hundreds of photographs of human body parts that were then digitally manipulated.
