The COFA Annual 2013

Resume

My work began as a response to the land, informed by a field trip to Fowler’s Gap earlier this year where I made an installation of hanging white rocks. This led me to an exploration of space, in particular the relationship of matter to space, time and colour. My researches have led me to the dot forms of Yayoi Kusama and the circles and ovals of Larry Poons; and my process has been informed by the many transparent layers of Susan Norrie, suggesting the effect of time on memory and the tensions between Now and Then.
