The COFA Annual 2013

Resume

Focusing on the studios of textiles and jewellery has driven an interest in the human body as the site for wearable objects that becomes a basis for conceptual examination. I explore how the body relates to these pieces contextually on a physical, emotional and psychological level. Both the wearer and audience are central to my work as I attempt to alter, enhance and influence perception through my designs. I seek to challenge perceived notions of design particularly wearable objects through thought provoking concepts and innovative experimentation in materials and processes.
