Specimens 1-12, Clorophyta/Viridiplantae is a series of living woven forms. Each specimen is constructed from Australian freshwater green algae and nylon filament and each continues to grow and even sustain life. I have chosen to present the series in specimen containers as if they are classified organisms to be studied and learnt from, each intended to transform algae into a new form and examine relationships between nature and man.
