Coalesce Range
Coalesce is a range of jewellery that is designed to change consumer ideals of what makes beautiful and valuable jewellery. Each piece
is an entirely unique representation of natural forms and elements, bringing together different parts to form a whole. The range aims to explore the relationship between natural and unnatural materials that can be found washed up on the shore. The pieces are a physical representation of where the land meets the sea, being handformed and carved from entirely natural driftwood. Each piece has its own narrative, one that prompts the consumer to wonder about the origin of the piece, and how it came to being the natural sculpture it is. Coalesce is a physical and symbolic representation of the action of water, wind, and sun, and of life, death and decay. The pieces fuse wood, PET plastic and sterling silver together to become a physical reminder of our impact on the environment and natural ecosystems. Each piece is 100% unique, one off pieces created to act as a object of beauty, but serve a duel purpose; they are the physical representation of
the narrative of nature, and are intended to be a beautiful and wearable call to action.
