The COFA Annual 2013

Meg Bartley (b. 1991) is a young emerging artist based on the Central Coast. Currently in the final year of her Bachelor of Fine Arts, her style crosses over between fine art and illustration, often combining graphite drawings with painterly mediums such as inks and watercolours. She is fascinated with human nature, particularly in terms of psychology and the emotional state, and uses portraiture as a vehicle to explore these internal ideas through external representations. She has been exhibited in several local and Sydney galleries and was a finalist in last year’s Gosford Art Prize.
