Giorgia Mack (B.1992, Perth) is an emerging Sydney based performance, installation and sculptural artist. Her work examines reoccurring themes of nature and the body, explored through the transformation of matter using a variety techniques and mediums. Strong relationships are formed within and between her works as she plays with feminine and masculine qualities, using natural and manmade materials. Combining the natural with industrial influences, each work has a gentle strength through its simplicity of form. Drawn to organic forms and their individual nuances, the artist uses casting as a method to capture textures and the negative space of objects.
