The COFA Annual 2013

Resume

Time is completely out of our control, eventually everything we’ve ever known will be lost and we’re sure to be dead long before that.

It has been said that you die twice. Once, when your biological functions cease and for the second time when the last person to have known you; follows suit. I am interested in the latter, the fragmentation of memory over time into eventual oblivion.

I work primarily in photomedia to realise images discussing themes of memory, the ephemeral, death and legacy.
