The COFA Annual 2013

Influenced by the B-theory of time and the philosophy of Eternalism, which suggests that every moment in time is existing simultaneously while it is our perception that travels through it; My work seeks to challenge the widely accepted linear viewpoint of chronological time by focusing on the effect of presence over temporal distance.

Through a cross disciplinary practice of oil painting, set making, performance and large format film photography, notions of historicity are built by visually referencing museological habitat dioramas of the early 20th century.
